ALGAHER-IS
Incorporated joint, is anchored to concrete in the
plug-in zone as the tube is undergoing the manufacturing
process. The joints are manufactured to fit in the
annular space between the tubes being its position
secured in the anchorage points.
The incorporated joint “IS”, is manufactured
in three different sections: IS - 12, IS –
14 and IS – 18, for tubes from ND 250 till
ND 1200.

The
incorporated joint is mounted on the previously cleaned
base hoop. As this process is being undergone, the
joint is fixed to the hoop, 35º gradient, testing
the right emplacement of the upper and lower sealing
lips. The tube mould is filled with concrete.
In order to get the right precision, the base hoop
must not be removed till the concrete get harden
(under normal circumstances, the day after)

Joints are manufactured taking into account the
reaction force over the tube under different temperature
conditions, avoiding in this way cracking and breakage.
The male and female coupling zones must be clean
and the male ending must be greased with the right
lubricant (specially in the curved zone). The male
ending is centred on the female and then is pushed,
with a minimum force power insertion of 2,5 X tube
weight (under normal conditions)
The installation process must be done under the
ISO UNE-EN 1610.
